It is 9:30 am on Tuesday, March 25, 2020. Angela Diaz is the secretary at Martinez Construction. The phone rings. Angela answers the phone.

Angela: Martinez Construction, Angela speaking. How can I help you?

Jose Rios: Hello, Angela. This is Jose. Is Mr. Martinez in?

Angela: No. He isn’t. He is at the construction site now. Do you want to leave a message?

Jose Rios: Ok.

Angela: Could you spell your name, please?

Jose: Yes. It’s Jose: J-O-S-E. Rios, R-I-O-S.

Angela: And what is your company?

Jose: I am from Manuel’s Tile.

Angela: What is your phone number?

Jose: It’s (714) 555-1900.

Angela: Are you returning Mr. Martinez’s call?

Jose: Yes. I am. He called me. Now I am calling him.

Angela: What is your message?

Jose: Mr. Martinez called me. He asked how much blue tile I have. I want to answer. But I don’t know if he means big blue tile or small blue tile. Does he want big blue tile or small blue tile?

Angela: Is this urgent?

Jose: No. It isn’t.

Angela: Do you want him to call you back?

Jose: Yes. I do. I need to talk to him.

Angela: If he can’t call you, will you call him?

Jose: Yes. I will.

Angela: Okay. I will give him the message. Thanks for calling and have a nice afternoon.

Jose: Thank you. Goodbye.
